Technical Canyoneering

The South Fork of Choprock Canyon is a beautiful and deadly canyon. The length of required sustained exertion is long, exhausting, wet and challenging. Climbing and swimming are the name of the game. This is not a place for anyone but advanced canyoneers. The canyon earned it's skull and cross bones in April, 2005 when two BYU students perished in the canyon. Choprock Canyon is one of the most difficult canyons in the area.
