Bow &
Arrow is a great technical canyoneering route that contains several amazing petroglyph panels,
two separate dinosaur trackways, a huge arch, dramatic views, some fun minor scrambling and
four entertaining rappels. You will have a hard time finding a bigger
bang for your buck in the Moab area.

Canyon is part of the "Circle of Friends" program.
Members of the "Circle of Friends" have
access to more specific information, explicit route information, GPS waypoints, trailhead
location and detailed maps. If you would

"Circle of Friends"
General Information:
Bow & Arrow is a technical canyoneering route that packs a big punch in a
small package. Total time required form trailhead to
trailhead is approximately 4 to 5 hours. Bow & Arrow Canyon requires complete technical gear.
Bow & Arrow is rated 3A II using the Canyon
Rating System. This canyon is accessible year round, but the route would not be
enjoyable during the hot summer month's. This is an excellent winter and cold weather route.
This route is suitable for beginners with competent leadership.
Navigation
for this route is moderate. A route description and map reading
skills are essential. In normal
conditions this canyon does not require any swimming or wading. The route contains
four
rappels. The rappel anchors in this canyon are
a mix of natural and bolted. All anchors are easy to locate and rig.
Trailhead Information:
The Bow & Arrow
Canyon Trailhead is located 10 minutes from Moab and is accessible to all vehicles in all weather conditions.
